In October 2003, the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) association will be presenting the fourth annual Canadian Innovation Awards. This event recognizes innovative excellence by corporations engaged in manufacturing or related sectors. The awards will be presented at Measure UP for Success, North America's Largest Lean Conference in Toronto.

Flexxaire was approached by the CME and asked to submit applications for the following awards:

Technology - Sponsored by Business Development Bank of Canada, this award recognizes innovative excellence in the development of new technology or the adoption and application of new technology in process or new product development.

Process Excellence - Sponsored by Canada Post, this award recognizes innovative excellence in process thinking, such as Lean.
