The Technology Visits Program sponsored by the National Research Council and the CME provides excellent opportunities for manufacturers to learn from leading Canadian companies. Host companies schedule plant visits and seminars that teach how to utilize new technologies and manufacturing methods. From this, visitors leave with a better knowledge of how to strategically position their companies for success in a global economy.

In August 2003, Flexxaire was asked to become a host company for the Technology Visits Program. We gladly accepted, as we welcome any opportunity to advance others as well as ourselves.

Two months later (on October 23rd), 27 individuals from companies across Western Canada arrived at Flexxaire. The four-hour visit was an educational success! We were very pleased to see our practices generate tremendous interest throughout the group.

At the end of the day, we received many thanks and a plaque recognizing our achievements. It was a great day for Flexxaire, but an even better one for our guests. We thank all that participated and look forward to hosting the next event.
